My Hangar ("the App") is operated by Horizon Air Services LLC ("Horizon," "we," "us"). The App helps aircraft owners organize flight, maintenance, expense, and document records for their own aircraft. This policy describes what data we collect and how we use it.
We collect the account information you provide at registration (name, email), the pilot profile details you choose to enter (certificates, ratings, home airport, bio), and the aircraft ownership records you create (aircraft profiles, flights, maintenance, expenses, documents, and community posts). Aircraft data you enter is associated with your account.
We use your information to provide and improve the App's features, to display your records back to you, to send the notifications you enable, and to operate subscription and community features. We do not sell your personal information.
Some features of the App use artificial intelligence. For example, when you look up an aircraft by its registration number, the request is processed by an AI language model that searches public sources to return aircraft details. AI is used only to power these convenience features and to help generate content you request.
When you use an AI-powered feature, the information needed for that request (such as a registration number or a text prompt) is sent to our AI service providers so they can generate a response. We do not use your personal information or your aircraft records to train AI models, and we do not sell it. AI-generated results may be incomplete, out of date, or incorrect, and should be verified against authoritative sources. Do not rely on AI output for airworthiness, maintenance, currency, or regulatory determinations.
The App may integrate with third-party services such as FlightAware (flight tracking), map providers, calendar services, and payment processors. These services have their own privacy practices governing data you share with them. We share only the data necessary to provide the requested feature (for example, an aircraft registration number to look up tracked flights).
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. You may request export or deletion of your data at any time from your Profile settings. Account deletion requests are processed by our team.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for maintaining your own original, authoritative records. See the Terms of Service for important limitations.
